Only about 3 or 4 good hills remain, but there are a lot of strange happenings at night. Cars will stall, headlights will shut off, and screaming can be heard. Also many OLD ghost buildings still exist. The Camp Creek Cemetery is also well know for being haunted.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/midwesternghostsandhauntings.blogspot.com\/2011\/07\/haunted-hills-of-seven-sisters-7.html\">Haunted Hills of the Seven Sisters (7 Sisters Road) &#8211; Otoe County Nebraska<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>A few miles south of Nebraska City, Nebraska there lies a group of hills that is subject of one of the most gruesome haunted legends known in the state.\u00a0 As the story goes, over a century ago man who lived in the area along with his family which consisted of seven sisters.\u00a0 One day for some unknown reason, whether deranged or there was some sort of family quarrel and the man went berserk, he led each of his sisters in turn to a separate hill near their home and hung each one from a tree until they were dead.<\/p>\n<table cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" align=\"center\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-F6B0czdjw8c\/Tiw4epeSreI\/AAAAAAAADBg\/yJXE0k2-D6Q\/s1600\/seven-sisters-road-nebraska-city-photo-by-Dan-Swanson.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-F6B0czdjw8c\/Tiw4epeSreI\/AAAAAAAADBg\/yJXE0k2-D6Q\/s320\/seven-sisters-road-nebraska-city-photo-by-Dan-Swanson.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>The Seven Sisters Road in Otoe County near Nebraska City, NE &#8211; photo by Dan Swanson<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>This area today has been the focus of many reports of paranormal phenomenon.\u00a0 Accounts of cars suddenly and inexplicably stalling have been widespread.\u00a0 Other electrical drain phenomenon have been reported as well.\u00a0 Mostly, tales of car headlights suddenly going extremely dim when entering the area of hills of the seven sisters.\u00a0 Then after leaving the area, the car lights would suddenly get bright again.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the most chilling tales of all are the numerous accounts over the years of travelers in the area hearing the screams of young women seemingly coming from the nearby hills while traveling on this stretch of road which in modern times is technically named Road L.\u00a0 This road is now known today as &#8220;7 Sisters Road&#8221; to the locals.\u00a0 Perhaps if you are driving in this area, you too may hear the spirits wailing in the haunted hills of the seven sisters.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com\/images\/I\/71n0D4jnZDL._UL1500_.jpg\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1403\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Legend is a man hung each one of his sisters on each of the 7 hills.
